Burns Night 2022
We were thrilled to be able to hold our second Burns Night since before the pandemic. Hats off to our Scottish lassies, Maggie, Lorraine, Ray and Shirley, who organised the best one yet!
A great setting at No. 6 by Genoa and a fine, traditional menu made everything perfect. Donnie the piper serenaded our guests as they arrived for their welcoming glass of Cava. Our guests were treated to a true Scottish celebration, from the piping in of the haggis to the traditional Scottish songs from our wee lassies.
Thanks must go to Carol Smith for her amazing raffle (she is definitely the Raffle Queen!), helping us to augment the chorus fundraising. Thank you also to the No. 6 staff and to all our wonderful guests, who truly got into the spirit of Robbie Burns.
