Christmas is Coming!

christmas-present-and-starIt’s been a very busy year for us and it’s about to get even busier in the lead up to the Christmas festivities with invitations to sing at various venues in Los Alcázares, Balsicas, Cabo de Palos, Sucina and Torrevieja.

“We love this time of year” remarked Spangles’ Musical Director, Wendy Grant “and we’ve been dusting off our Christmas repertoire since September. It’s our chance to give something back to the community by supporting local charities.”

If you’d like to see this champion chorus perform and support some worthy causes, here is the list of where we will be singing:

Thursday, 1 December – 20.00 – Christmas Lights Turning on Ceremony at the Spanglish Bar, Balsicas

Friday, 2 December – 16.00 – Christmas Fair at the Palm Lounge, Cabo de Palos

Sunday, 4 December – 11.00 – Cruz Azul Christmas Fair at the Bulevar Oasis, Los Alcázares

Friday, 9 December – 19.30 – Christmas with Spangles Concert at the Salón de Plenos, Los Alcázares (Tickets available at just 5€ each)

Saturday, 10 December – 17.00 – Joint Concert with Crescendo for Age Concern at the Christian Fellowship Church, Torrevieja (Tickets available at just 5€ each)

Monday, 12 December – 14.30 (tbc) – Opening of Cake Magic at Centro Comercial La Zenia Golf, 15 03189 (next to Paddy’s Point).

Wednesday, 14 December – 14.00 – Ladies’ Lunch at the Restaurante Mario, Sucina

Spangles welcomes new members so, if you’re looking to make new friends and enjoy singing, why not visit us when we rehearse at Las Claras? We meet every Thursday from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.
