We’re Abuzz with Excitement!
At the beginning of November, we will be joining other choirs/choruses for the “Musica Orbis Gloria Festival” in Prague.
Preparations are well under way, but everyone knows temperatures will be low in November, proving very cold for those from warmer climes! However, Spangles have covered that by equipping ourselves with new capes to keep us all warm for the trip.
We say “equipping ourselves” but we wouldn’t have been able to do that without some great help from our supporters. Spangles is so very grateful to the local businesses who have sponsored the capes to help them on their way. This includes Mayz Dental Practice, the Gurkha Durbar Nepali Restaurant and The Salon, as well as two partners of chorus members, Herman and David, who have also donated.
We’ll be as warm as toast!

We’re really looking forward to singing in some fabulous venues, including the famous St Vitus Cathedral, joined by choirs from around the world. We are a ladies’ a cappella chorus, singing in four part harmony. We rehearse every Thursday, from 10.30 am to 1.00 pm at Centro Municipal Las Claras, Calle Helena, Los Narejos, Los Alcázares and visitors are always welcome.
